Sounds great in theory. However the LSTA has not provided accurate info the last 2 storms. Last storm we were told boys had regular bussing and girls were on a 2 hour delay. Went to wait with my son at 7:45 for his Seman Tov bus. After waiting a half hour, we called the bus company only to be told that they were running on a 2 hour delay. Meanwhile my daughter's bus showed up on time and I drive her 2 hours late, she was 2 hours late for school. Today we were told that Seman Tov busses could not get out of the lot. So I drove my son to school, and we pulled in together with my son's empty Seman Tov bus, which was clearly not stuck in their lot.
The Lsta provides accurate information, but its only as accurate as they are told by the vendors .The vendors, in some cases ,do not keep to what they promise . The problem is that with 35000 kids bli ayin hora and growing by 3000 or more per year , there are not enough vendors ,so it's hard to fire them and find other better vendors . Don't blame the Lsta for the vendors not being good . The Lsta tries their best .
Its no help if the twitter account posts a link to the lakewood scoop which is blocked. I the lsta are serious about this twitter acct they should post all important information on it not direct you to 3rd party websites
