Coastal Storm Tuesday thru Wednesday Night 6 to 12 inches of Snow

NWS: Winter Storm Watches in effect for eastern PA, NJ, DE and northeastern MD.
 Mixed precipitation Tuesday and Tuesday evening becoming all snow late Tuesday night and
Wednesday. A heavy wet snow could result in downed trees and power lines, along with power outages.
-Travel will be difficult, if not impossible, especially on Wednesday.
 Generally 6 to 12 inches of snow in our region, with lesser amounts possible in southern DE and in Cape May County, NJ. Snowfall rates of 1-3 inches per hour may occur on Wednesday. Confidence in the snowfall forecast: Medium.
 -Northeast winds Tuesday night becoming north on Wednesday, then northwest on Wednesday night.
Sustained wind speeds 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 30 to 40 mph on Tuesday night and Wednesday,
decreasing to 10 to 20 mph on Wednesday night. Strongest winds near the coast. Confidence level:
High.

 -Minor coastal flooding on Tuesday night. Moderate coastal flooding on Wednesday and Wednesday
night. Confidence: Medium to High.
 -Storm force winds and rough seas on the coastal waters of NJ and DE, and on Delaware Bay from
Tuesday night into Wednesday. Confidence: High.
