Some Purim Shtick now Legal in NJ

Walk into any store in NJ and they are now selling party snappers and other purim shtick.
New for 2018, Sparklers, party poppers and snappers are now legal in NJ. Christie signed legislation back in June, legalizing "non-explosive, non-aerial" fireworks in New Jersey. That means stores are allowed to sell sparklers, glow-worms, snakes and smoke devices in the state for the first time in decades. The law also legalized some small novelty fireworks that act as noisemakers, including party poppers and snappers that bang when they are thrown on the ground.

Kids still can't use any fireworks in New Jersey, even sparklers. The new rules apply only to people age 16 or older.
Most fireworks, including Roman candles, bottle rockets, torpedoes, bombs, skyrockets and other consumer fireworks designed to explode in the sky are still forbidden to sell. See more at NJ.com

  1. Ok. Now can I have back all the party poppers and other now totally legal purim shtick that nobody ever was bothered about selling for the last 30 years in Lakewood that police confiscated from my store last year? After it was known what we were selling and everyone agreed that it was the safest outlet for purim shtick so kids dont buy dangerous items from garages, somebody pressured police to come into our store and confiscate all our shtick. It is just funny to me that the same people that scream moiser at those that question those that are killing our town, are the same people that have no problem doing actual mesirah to hurt people financially.
