    Great a hashgocha from someone`s heim !
It`s really our fault as soon as we as a tzibur allowed for Chasidishe Schechita to be marketed in Lakewood and caused that a ben yeshiva cannot get a job a shochet for our tzibur this was bound to happen.

  6. Recently some simcha halls are only allowing KCL approved foods even for a cold kiddush.
Say good bye to the homemade cakes cookies or other platters. You c as needed no longer trust your neighbor who baked a cake for your simcha.
    Sad.

  8. No that's not correct. You certainly have the right to trust your neighbor. But if you are feeding a tzibur who does not know the neighbor and his standards ,and they believe that all the food is under the hashgocha of an agency ,then you can't allow non hashgocha food into the place.Pretyy elementary and not sad at all.

    1. It's sad that we've come to a point in Lakewood that you don't trust your neighbors who bring over a platter for a simcha.
It's even more sad that the concern is money and not about kashrus.

    2. If you don`t trust your neighbor in Lakewood then I would recommend moving to some remote outpost in the Appalachians and living the rest of your life out over there.
The basic default in Lakewood are all of the mehadrin hashgochos .
Even if someone were to try they would have a very hard time finding raw ingredients that are substandard .
If you are makpid on yoshon that is your choice , it was not the minhag of the Rav Ahron Zt'l nor of the Satmar Rov . To say someone is not trustworthy because of that or even if they are not makpid on Cholov Yisrael just magnifies how tremendous am haratzus has become in our town.
It`s part of the collateral damage that comes with chasidim moving in

  10. If you're using KCL, they are taking responsibility, so they have a right to demand that you're only using their products.
If you want to use your neighbor's cakes, make the kiddush in your house & serve what you like.

  11. To all you people who complain about the Lakewood vaad and establishment over this town you have to realize the only reason why they have any control over this town is because they control the spiritual Monopoly over this town Bais Dinn Hashgacha etc once that control and Power is broken by default their Monopoly on all the political and physical and monetary issues on his town goes away take for example Yeshivos the Yeshivos in Brooklyn. They don't control the city because they do not run the Botei Dinim and Hashgochoa

    Brooklyn has plenty of corruption
There r plenty of orginazaltional cliques and if u want to be the new kid on the block u need to cow tow
There r too many to count but suffice it to say if a certain group of ppl shun u in Brooklyn u r
    toast
Also hashgachos in BP are a joke everyone knows that
There r only a handful of places that have real hashgocha the rest just rely on the Baal habos

  13. Some Yeshivos or Organizations in Brooklyn may be able to cause some problems to some individuals in Brooklyn because the person chooses to align with that group however as soon as a person disassociates with that group than that group or organization has zero control or say in his life Family or Business.
