  9. disgusting! keep your AMAZING food in crown heights and the five towns . The bulk of lakewood even with the new influx of people just wants a torahdik lifestyle and are not interested in the gashmuis being shoved in our faces . KCL should be ashamed of themselves

    1. I know its expensive, but there are pple that enjoy different foods and might enjoy this. And if you went to Estreia your bill would be more then that by the time your done.

    2. Kcl is being used because the owner (mizrachi) of the other restaurant "eat a pita" is also under kcl and most likely they use the same kitchen.

  10. To unknown at 9:12 I am living in Lakewood for 27 yrs. do you not realize by now that Lakewood infrastructure is no longer toradig? Is Estreia torahdig, the McMansions? How about all the eqqus 75000 $ car or lexuses 85+ thousand? Who are you fooling. Even our tzedaka functions compete as th whose is fancier what is served and who the entertainment is. Cmon get real

    1. This is indeed the crux of the problem that defines Lakewood. This is why we've become a schizophrenic community that spurns so many children that are otd. This schism between our grandiose self vision and the reality of what we are. How are Roshei Yeshiva and Rabbonim supposed to serve a world based on reality when they're living in this delusion of Lakewood Ihr Hatorah?

    2. I was at a high end restaurant in the deal area the other week . For 2 people. 2 main dishes of meat 2 side dishes and wine. Total 118 including tax and gratuity. The place was packed with heimish from lakewood and ny. To charge double of that in lakewood is beyond comprehension. I dont know who he is trying to attract.
