Panel Discussion

The laws are complex and vague there are many grey areas. The lawmakers and experts themselves dont have the answers to many questions and facts. a similar symposium took place in 2015.

  2. This is nothing more than a money maker . They will get a grant for community outreach bla bla. Last time they made everyone who came down sign their names so they can prove the numbers.
A bigger chutzpah the very same people who admitted guilt and threw innocent couples and an entire community under the bus, are chairing this event and lecturing the tzibbur.
Agudah was silent during the ordeal now they want us to think of them as the savior. They are having the Rosh Yeshiva speak to give credence to the event.

This event will once again give an excuse for overreaching prosecutors to go after people since they should have known.

  4. Why doesnt FBI or IRS give a booklet of all the laws and this way everyone can see exactly what the story is. Whats the point in having a gathering if your claiming that theres still alot of gray areas. The gray areas are what got pple into trouble.

  13. Why is everyone so desperate that we shouldn't go? Maybe I will actually learn something..

  14. There is nothing new to learn. If you have a question call the LRRC. This event is for people who feel they are in Power who did nothing to defend the olam during and after the raids. If you go you will cause hezek to other yidden down the road r"l.

  17. What a travesty! The same vaad who knew what was going on all along is now acting like the tzadik preaching to others what they did wrong. What about the donations that they received all along from the ill gains of these people? Im fed up with lakewood and heading west

  18. What donations does the Vaad get. I never heard of anybody donating money to the Vaad.

  19. I don't get everyone here. I'm not a Vaad fan, I voted against all the incumbents at the primaries.
Even if the vaad is somehow going to benefit from this symposium, it is still important for the community to know what they can and can not do in regards to programs.
If the vaad does nothing, you all complain. When they do organize something, you all complain. I know that you all think they have ulterior motives, but even if they do, take advantage of it! A lot of people in town feel lost, at least they got some sort of direction last night!

    1. They got absolutle no direction last night. It was a sham event jst to make the Noguddah and the Vaad relevant. The silence during the arrests speaks volumes of where they really stand. No one came home with any clarity from it.
