  1. I think the solution is to overbuild Lakewood and Monsey so we look like a model of good governance.

I do think this is driven by anti-semitism but the fact that we destroy the towns we live in (Lakewood has been destroyed from a quality of life perspective by the over-building) has added fuel to the fire.

  2. The people moving into Jackson toms river and Howell do not want to destroy those towns. They want to be a positive force and live peacefully with their neighbors. Nobody has plans of taking over. But Jewish people do need some help in order to live according to their religion. The small favors that a typical Jewish community might need does not need to hurt any town. Having an Eruv is totally unobtrusive and an acceptable concession to any Jewish community. An Eruv is not a precursor to an invasion.

  3. Hershel,
Many of our own frum people in lakewood are against heimeshe stores carrying non cholov yisroel products even though there is a big demand for them. That being said ,how do u convince a non jewish person that an eruv encompassing thier town , is just a "string" for religipus purposes?

    1. you tell them the string is not really effecting you the string is clear & basically invisible so please just ignore the string & lets live side by side

  5. who is there a big demand for cholov yisroel Milk it is extremely rear to find a non Jew in the Kosher Supermarkets. The Mexicans all go to their Bodegas. The Rest go to Shoprite , Stop and Shop, Target, Walmart, and Aldes.

The Lakewood Frum Oilem at least 95% if not more Drink only Cholov Yisroel as most are Chasidish or Originate from the Mainstream Yeshiva world. Not to many Modern Orthodox in Lakewood and they have plenty of places to buy Cholv Stam or Akum at the Gas stations Wawa, Walgreens , Rite aid and Non Jewish supermarkets
