  4. Why Is It A Given That Lakewood Must Double To 230k People. He makes it sound as if everyone living in Lakewood loves the development.
He does not represent the town or the bneu hsyedhiva for that matter he represents wealthy donors who are now investing and profiting off Lakewood over building. Follow the money see who the investors are.

  5. At leadt the editors could not deny the fact that state mandated busing is even for private schools as long as they live outside the 2 mile threshold.

  9. He avoided answering some questions - but over all he did a good job.

  10. I'm no fan of corruption, pay-to-play, overgrowth and horrific traffic, but surely maintaining and encouraging harmonious relations and dispelling misunderstandings is commendable if not laudable. Let's allow ourselves a more nuanced and honest response.

Call vaad tell them we need a MORATORIUM on all development above 5 houses. No more duplexes. No more legal basement apartments . No more attics that can be rentals . Change all the zoning back to 2001 map.
Stop pretending that it's not a rational request. What is irrational is thinking we can continue on this path.
    Call the VAAD .

Yes he made a great performance. But a kiddush hashem? The proof is in what you do not what you say. Aaron Kotler is not stupid . He knows that duplexes with basement apartments sprawling throughout a town that was not built for such housing is a bad idea. But he makes money from it. His friends make money from it . And we know that it does not make money for taxpayers, it costs. And he just doesn't care. So yes. Great performance . But that is all it was. Another performance. But the neighboring towns will see things like the new 5 story capitol apartments and know that he doesn't care about what effect we are having on the area . Take a bow Aaron.

  15. It's nice that AK's son was able to make a quality of life "choice" and move to Jackson. what about those of us who already made that choice and moved to quiet neighborhoods in Lakewood 15 years ago, only to have the rezoned, and quality of life destroyed?

  16. What I don't understand is why he was selected to 'represent'? There is a Mayor and people on the Boe capable. Of answering these questions. Is he becoming a politician? What's his end goal?

  17. I'm not a vaad guy by any means. But great job by AK on the interview. Was most definitiy a great kiddush hashem. Extremely professional.

    1. Well, not many could do that job without admitting that overdevelopment is a problem.
