    3. First of all, you are wrong. They want greedy people who have large incomes and live in large houses and still collect social benefits. Do you see Mexicans living in half a million dollar houses? Second of all, so what? Does that mean that people did not need to wake up long, long ago and changed their mehalach due to the climate we live in that only wants the Jews? So what exactly is your point???

    4. That's what ppl think about Mexicans but it false. Most Mexicans with fake SS stay away from anything having to do with government most of them work and font do there taxes Mexicans always get picked on its the Jews turn.
Jews are the hypocrites act like they do everything right turns out there worse then everybody else.

    3. The people arrested are adults. Adults are supposed to make grown up decisions and not want more because someone else is living on a higher standard. It's the kids who say "everyone else has one." The "oilam's" lifestyle is irrelevant

    1. Right. That's how it started. It's all the schools fault.
It's their fault when they don't accept your child.
It's their fault when they do teach your child.
It's their fault when your child goes off the derech r"l.
It's their fault when your child can't learn and wants to work.
It's their fault when your child can't read and write and doesn't want to work.
It's ALL someone else's fault. Never the parent who taught the child not to take accountability for their own actions.

    4. You are projecting your own experience onto others. I never had or heard of A Rebbi telling anyone this. I highly doubt most of the accused have either.

I can think of a few things that could use some correction . The standards of living and eer pressure to conform to it is completely out of hand.

I make a very nice living, and am shocked at what people spend on things. Due to the fact that I am willfully anti-social, I couldn't care less about the peer pressure, although I know it's there.

The other problem is hakol hole a char harosh. The Rosh needs to be replaced, and lakewood just blew a great opportunity to do so

Kollelim who make yungerleit take 100K in programs for the moisad, & start paying Kollel checks of 360.00 a month after 4 years, if the guy is still in kollel, barely interest on the money they took.
The Roshei kollel & admins. are taken care of honorable housing wedding assistance etc. seem to have made yenems Ruchniyas their gashmiyus.
Kllal Yisroel needs Yeshivos & kollelim, but no monopolies we need anti trust.
BTW this will be blamed on internet & smartphones, they will make another asifa l'maan Kvod shomayim, against internet & technology, because that is all what seems to be wrong with kllall Yisroel according to the self proclaimed manhigim.
How about a citifield asifa, limnoa Chillul shem shomayim, & how the Roshei Yeshiva should follow the alter fun Slabodka's example of a Rosh Yeshiva or quit, let other open and build manageable size Yeshivos & Kollelim, & let those who need government assistance for studies, use it to get a parnoso.
I am waiting for the asifa, but who will be able to speak? R Meir Stern SHLIT"A if he will come, who else?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It is actually an extremely challenging commandment. If one was in desperate need, and they had the opportunity to take something that was not theirs, and they thought no one would ever know or miss it, many people would not be able to resist the temptation.

I am not saying it isn't wrong, because it is, and you are correct, it is one of the commandments, but it the reality is that in certain situtations, and can be a very difficult commamentry to observe, that doesn't excuse someone from stealing, the commandments aren't supposed to be easy.

FYI I have never taken a dime from government programs.Thank G-d I have never had to.

Did the vaad not follow dinei Torah?

  22. The local and state officials are partially to blame. They knew what was going on for years and looked the other way. Then suddenly did what was right and caught people off guard. They shouldn't have to announce in 2015 the party is over, meaning there was a party that they knew about and went with.

    2. They FBI claim to the press, they warned in 2015, and these people didn't listen. When in 2011-2014 when the alleged crimes were committed?
      They warned retroactively?
This is what they sell to the press?
They also condemn the Orthodox Jewish Community of Lakewood, a whole community, is that not Bigotry? If not what is?
Imagine if the FBI would tell the NYT the black community of Harlem was warned, & now we will target them?
Would there not be an outcry? Would they not surround burn down the local FBI buildings?
The entire press stuff is so biased, & the fact they could not find one case after their so called warning, shows what a witch hunt this really is.
We have a president who fired Comey, he wants to drain the swamp, what type of critters are in our local FBI swamp, who report & judge & execute to the press, and contradict themselves in doing so.
Someone has to make our honorable president aware of this scum.
BTW I have never taken a program Boruch Hashem, and hope never to have to, I don't condone cheating on programs, and I rather there wouldn't be any programs. That does not change how biased these FBI agents are.

  26. Remember we are in golus and must follow their laws. We keep a higher standard for our children's education and kashrus for our meals. Law enforcement does not recognize these as basic costs but rather as luxuries and assumes we are stealing instead of just getting by. Something has to change for costs to come down or we receive more income outside of these programs. Breaking their law even with good intentions is still breaking the law.

I know for a fact that R' Dovid Cohen does NOT hold that way about mesirah. He is only matir by molestation to protect yiddeshe kinder. Your "reliable source" is probably a molester that wants to make r' Cohen look bad!

  28. At the final Agudah Convention in his lifetime, Rav Pam ZTL gave an historic passionate address regarding taking programs etc. The speech accurately described how a ehrliche yid should behave. The public response from the Roshei Yeshiva of BMG at that time is truly an eye opener to understanding current events taking place in Lakewood.

  29. In case no one realized yet, the infamous VAAD is trying to cash in big time with all these arrests by claiming they will "help" out. They think this will help them gain momentum with next years block vote. We cant let this happen.

  30. They knew the investigation was ongoing for three years, yet they continued to perpetrate the fraud. If they were Italians and not Jews, they would be facing Federal RICO act charges.

    ReplyDelete

    1. No they did not! Did you bother reading the charges that were released? The "alleged" fraudulent activity is from a few years ago and they stopped taking programs after they found out there were under investigation.
