Not Sure Who To Vote For? listen to this plea from a simple Lakewood resident

Polls are open from 6:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
"I sit in Lakewood traffic everyday, probably for about 2 hours in total - of what should be about 20 minutes max. I beg of everyone who can vote, to please go vote, - if not for yourselves then do it as a good deed for me. Please vote for change, we can't go on like this.
When you're unsure what to do you ask for advice, but there are no questions - the status quo just isn't tolerable. A neighbor of mine has switched to working from home because of the lost travel time. It just can't continue. Route 9 [going] north a few years ago was backed up till James, now it's backed up to Hearthstone. Imagine after the oak street corridor how it's going to look."

  3. nobody has to imagine how Route 9 will look after the oak street corridor is done, we all know good and well. Drive down Vine street and you will already see tons of houses going up. Besides for the tons already starting to go up theres tons more land cleared. It's going to be insane.

  5. What about for Governor? Guandagno is endorsed by Vaad, but does that matter? Who else for Republicans is good? No other choices for State District 30 unless we all write-in.

  6. A telling sign #fakenews let through a comment of someone who says he voted for Gruman. Seems he sees the way the wind is blowing.

  7. I went out and voted for 2 candidates who were NOT Vaad endorsed. I honestly don't know which :)
All I ask is that if they win, a ban on all new developments should be placed on Lakewood. The only construction done should be people replacing one single family house or area similarly zoned, with a new single family house. Other than that - no new developments etc, regardless of what Brooklyn and Williamsburg Chassidim, especially, want. We cannot let this town turn into Monsey.
