Letter Slams Local Candidate - But Signers Didn't Even Know Who They Were Signing Against

Unfortunately, during this election season, those with a nefarious agenda have not refrained from spreading lies and misrepresentations. They have also conveniently lumped together all the local candidates running independently, thus attempting to apply guilt by association. By doing so, they didn’t need to do more than condemn one particular candidate for mesirah and the like, because that label was then easily applied to the other candidates.

This is shameful. By doing this, those who claim to be standing up for Torah and bnei Torah besmirched the good names of fine people who never hurt anyone.

Let’s take a look at one candidate named Dovid Gruman. Dovid has lived in Lakewood all his life. His zaide was a talmid muvhak of Rav Aharon Kotler zt”l. Dovid hails from a family that is well known for its Torah ideals. Dovid is an ehrliche fellow, a hardworking taxpaying resident of Lakewood. Dovid decided to run for a seat on the Township Committee. He launched a positive campaign, seeking to address the issues on the minds of Lakewood residents.

Before he knew it, Dovid was attacked by those with an agenda as “unqualified.” He was lumped together with three other candidates he has nothing to do with. A letter was released against these candidates. Dovid’s name was included.

To the dismay of many, it has since been discovered that Dovid never even received as much as a phone call from anyone associated with the letter to find out who he is or why he is running.

In fact, when Dovid approached one of the people whose name was on the letter, the signatory expressed shock that “Dovid Gruman” was in fact him. The signatory related that he had relied on others who released the letter. They had assumed that he was a member of a different Gruman family.

In short, the letter besmirching and defaming Dovid Gruman was released without any knowledge of who Dovid Gruman is. It is fairly easy to find out who people are, what they do, what they are about, where they daven, and who they associate with. In this case, a letter was released against a local ben Torah without even the most basic research being done beforehand.

How can anyone trust people who have no compunction about defaming, besmirching and tarnishing the reputation of good, upstanding people?

The truth speaks for itself.

    1. The Vaad is the only ones who hide. The backroom deals the secrecy. No one to blame but themselves

  3. The vadd hides behind the famous lines of לתועלת הרבים or the vadd wad established by רי שניאור which is a complelie fabrication and lie. Ever notice how active the vaad is through out the year(not). They come crawl out of the woodwork once a year around election time like a bunch of worms. Its high time we eradicate the current vadd.

  4. The Vaad should try to be a little more diverse. 90% of Vaad members are living in tax free housing within a 2 block radius of yeshiva apartments. Most are benefitting directly thru some special Interest.
The younger tax paying majority of town has no representation on the Vaad!

  5. Shenky owns a luxury dira in Eretz Yisroel. He is there a third of the year with his family. With all due respect to his seniority, how much can he be in touch with the tzibur here in Lakewood? Which segment of the community is Shenky representing?
Rabbi Moshe Velvel Weisberg inherited the tzedaka for Ichud Talmiday Kletsk Vlakewood who are living in Eretz Yisroel. Which segment is he representing?inherited the tzedaka for Ichud Talmiday Kletsk Vlakewood who are living in Eretz Yisroel. Which segment is he representing?

  6. We listened to the entire shpiel by Attorney Michael Inzelbuch. He is the attorney that has been representing SCHI for many years, at he same time as representing the Lakewood BOE. That was a profitable "plan".

Mind you the lakewood BOE was most probably the main conduit of funds to SCHI. Was that a conflict of Interest?, many think so. An ill devised "plan".

Most are of the opinion that with corruption, we must first drain the swamp. I think that in itself is a "plan".

The vaad hijacked the block vote for their own benefit. A well devised "plan ".

The Vaad and their associates profited enormously from the gullible voters. That was by "plan".

The vaad operates by encouraging corruption tactics, by "plan".

Time to drain the swamp and get rid of the vaad strangle hold on the voters. That's a very well devised "plan" that will work to everyone's benefit.

    1. You can do it yourself. Look up the home address of the following Vaad Members (Kotler, Rabinowitz, Blech) and see for your self by putting the address into the county tax lookup http://www.tax.co.ocean.nj.us/TaxBoardTaxListSearch.aspx

Rosansky and shenky live in BMG student housing (Yeshiva Apts)

  8. Mike Delia, you are a very important individual on the Township committee. Stand strong, the Lakewood voters need you to look out for their interests. We all are unaware of what goes on behind the scenes, please attend everyone one of those meetings and look out for our interests.

    Thanks again.

It's just a matter of time till the voters will recognize your tremendous asset to us.

  9. The Mashgiach didn't sign the letter of recommendation for the incumbents. Why not? How could he sign to vote for non shomrei mitzvos, when there are 5 Shomrei Torah umitzvos running?

Only the gedoilim in Eretz Yisroel could decide such a shvereh shailah.

  10. The person who is guilty of Mesira, is responsible for the multiple times this agency reported (falsely) to the authorities. In one particular case the L... was summoned to Bais Din and they were found guilty of mesira. We should Lumped together members and condemn all of them as MOSRIM. This is not conspiracy this is a fact. This is documented.
