  1. This guy is nuts. Asking the mayor to give him our money and then the mayor is considered a nice guy by giving out our money. Typical liberals

  2. And TLS had the nerve to say that due to the "generosity of Mayor Coles" Lakewood will have a football program.

I wasn't aware that Mayor Coles had that kind of money to just throw around, and if he does, I wonder were it came from

  3. Our town has a 29 million surplus. We can fully fund the schools and still have about 15 million left. Time to stop crying poverty when we are anything but.

    1. So lower taxes. The surplus is coming from somewhere. It is people's sweat and blood. The surplus is not growing on township owned trees

    2. Our town only has what it took from the taxpayers, and including the special referendum, taxes have gone up draStickley the last 4 years.

    3. If the town would actually do their job and improve infrastructure and create parks, it wouldn't have a surplus. What are they hoarding the money for? They keep raising taxes.

  4. We the taxpayers are in serious debt. We're on the hook for the tremendous yearly deficit at the BOE, at the same time we're acting like we just won the lottery, giving away free land, sponsoring football teams, etc. etc.
