American Gedolim send letter about Giyus to Gedolim in EY

The Lakewood Rosh Yeshiva Rav Malkiel Kotler signed a letter see below together with the Novominsker Rebbe, Rav Aaron Feldman, Rav Meir Hershkowitz and other American Gedolim pertaining to Giyus which was sent to Gedolei Eretz yisrael explaining their position about the dangers associated with the Draft law.  In addition another letter in the name of Lakewood Roshei Yeshiva calling on the bnei Yeshiva to attend the upcoming asifa at Barclays center was deemed as a photoshop. see below.

A letter being sent around in the name of the Lakewood Roshei Yeshivah, is false. The following statement was sent by the Gabai of Reb Malkiel Shlita.
“ברוב פחד ואימה על בזיון כבוד התורה ראשיה ולומדיה. I would like to be מודיע that the Lakewood Roshei Yeshiva never signed any letter about the Kinus that is being held in  the Barclay Center this coming Sunday. Any letter that is being distributed in their name is a total forgery and false.”

  2. To the he Gabai, Are you so concerned about kavod Hatorah???

Why do you control the chotzer by not letting rabbonim place phone calls to the Rosh Yeshiva?

Why do you feed the Rosh Yeshiva with misinformation and take sides in disputes brought to him.

You should not be lecturing anyone about bizayon Hatorah

    1. is this really going on??!!
sounds similar to the money/ power chotzeros maffia of the daas torah that goes on in Eretz Yisroel.
Is this happening here as well??

    2. Yes its unfortunately going on. Those who know bypass the Gabbai and talk to R' Malkiel directly.

  3. Is it possible the Rosh Hayeshivah actually signed something without his roadblock's permission? Maybe the American gedolims' letter will also bypass the Israeli gedolims' roadblocks and actually reach the gedolims without being interpreted through the corrupt translations of their roadblocks...

  5. You can knock on his door, call his house ,call his cell ,meet him in Yeshiva after davening. He does not hide behind a gabbai. He is very available to anybody.

  6. Reb Malkiel is very accessible. Don't blame the Gabai for this one. He is not 100 years old and blind that he doesn't know what's going on around him.

  8. It is the right from leading gedoileh Torah in the u s to understand what is going on in eretz Yisroel.
And especially when they expect that the gedolim should not participate in the upcoming rally

  9. when the israeli gedolim need help in deciding something or if they need the American gedolim to help them they could find out how to call them
It's interesting to note how many thousands of Americans are going every year for berochos and eitzois by the Israeli gedolim and it's not happening the opposite
So we should trust them on this issue if they don't ask our advise

    1. It's our own fault we undermined the American Gedolim by running to bnei brak for photo ops. We have gedolim right here in our own backyard.
