Vote Traffic Out

  1. Traffic is never going to be out. Even if all construction stopped right now, as it should, there's just too many cars already.

We need to stop building large developments. We need to stop allowing more basement apartments. We need to close down those that have more than one legal apartment in their homes, even if they are on the township committee. We need to go back to single family home zoning and stop allowing duplexes in most areas of town.
Then we can work on easing traffic with left turning signals , better signage , timed traffic lights, adding traffic lights where there are strip malls etc.
Bricktown was suffering with terrible traffic in some areas . I was told they hired a competent traffic engineer that made small fixes and their traffic problem is a lot better. None of this can be done, or make a difference if we add hundreds of new cars to the mix every year.

If you insist on not voting for Delia or Berman,
You need to vote for Travis and Sharaby.
    They are the only alternative.

You want rousing? Travis, Sharaby and Gruman will bring actuql change for the better, finally for lakewood. My endorsement is not important. If change is what you want, these are your guys. If you are happy with the way things are, then Coles, Delia and Berman are for you.

Travis happens to think out of the box. He really has good ideas , and would be a real asset on the committee.

He plans on making a township website with all meetings recorded to be watched anytime.
To have any land sales or bids for services posted online in plain English for all to see.
He wants to make a township bulletin board so anyone can post a concern online to be seen by our committee members
A section of the website dedicated to police activities and to post urgent messages to the community with a cell phone number sign up to receive mobile calls if messages need to be announced to the community .
He wants to expand the inspection department activities to crack down on slum housing and illegal dangerous apartments in attics.
He told me he will work with many private investors willing to invest in recreational facilities in Lakewood to bring more quality of life into our town.
He plans on looking into the blue claws contract and getting new management for the Strand theater that will either make it profitable or sell it to a private entity . He has many more ideas. He established many successful businesses and is well versed in social media . He will unite our town for the better.

    3. Wow HH, you got all that from his ad? Can this candidate also not speak for himself?

He isn't going you put all his ideas into an ad . People have short attention spans . Hirsh spouts ideas that will never happen. Widen toads? Create a grid? Where? How? Whose money?

    5. So how is he going to "work with investors to create recreational facilities"?

You don't need and won't get investors for parks. The township can do that all by themselves.

Anything other then that, is a business, if the business plan works good, but they shouldn't get any special Township aid.

Some of that website stuff you mentioned is far too detailed and confusing, sounds like some pet project that has been on your mind for a while.

  4. ...and GDMS wants to build 1800+ triplexes, duplexes on the Eagle Ridge Golf Course? It's a violation of environmental, wildlife, and zoning laws...speak out and join the fight! This is organized crime, and it must stop.

    1. Yup, and the only candidate that actually went to the CAFRA meeting regarding Eagle Ridge was... Aaron Hirsch. Why? Because he makes it his business to support important causes and speak out.

It's called grandstanding. He shows up because its free campaigning. He says a lot of nonsense at the meetings. He makes himself sound legitimate, but he just spouts absolute nonsense . Don't waste your vote. We can make real changes with Travis. He knows his limitations and will do what needs to be done .

    3. Because he wanted to score political points with the seniors. Too much of what Hirsch does comes across as grandstanding.

I sent a 2 page letter to the person in charge of CAFRA, very detailed and researched. I am not running for anything, and no one knows who I am.

There are more ways to make a difference then just showing up and giving campaign speeches.

  5. Which business did he start? How long ago?

  6. Did you hear yourself, candidate should not be campaigning. Seriously????
If the other candidates can not find the time to be with the people in the rough times, why should we vote for these guys. The candidates need to be out there and earn votes, voters don't just show up. At the current rate, there is only one smart candidate that will earn my vote. He is the only one taking this seriously. I probably will give my vote to the 2 experienced people in the race. Delia in my book is history, he is a vaad puppet. So I guess the 2 votes left will be Berman and Hirsch for stability, and experience. I'm not just voting for some kid to be burning down the crazy house in town. That would just be madness.
