    1. Not talking about the micro loans. Let's look at the networking events the ESL grants how much tax money is spent on these programs?
Shouldn't the public know if there is a conflict of interest here. By legally abstaining from votes when the LDC gives money to LOS does not mean that the public should not be aware of who sits on the board or if there is a connection with the vaad.

    2. " my staff at the LSCS work full-time to give loans to small businesses and otherwise help with networking, mentoring and jobs. Get a life!"

Do the staff get paid? Do they loan someone elses money? It is a job and a "business" like any other.

I know someone who once opened a business as a non-profit. I asked them why, and he responded "a non-profit makes a lot more money"

  5. The sinah here is not to be believed. You guts are turning this town into the biggest sinah and machlokes. Nothing justifies this.

  6. There is no sinah it's about time the disenfranchised tzibbur is speaking up. For too long the voting block was hijacked by a few powerful who claimed to have the interests of the klal but only helped themselves.
A anonymous self appointed vaad stacked with special interest has no right to serve the klal.

  7. It is about people not wanting to be the few in power's punching bag anymore. Turn the other cheek is not a Jewish concept, Bah B'machteres is.

  8. We did not appoint you to turn our town into a mokom sinah. I don't care about disenfranchised or not. The sinah that is tearing us apart is much worse than any disenfranchisement.

    1. I don't see Sina tearing anyone apart. Wherever I go, people are pretty much united. I know many people who work in construction, and even they can't defend what is going on. they just say "that's the way it is, you can't change it"

Those who are actually stepping up and trying to change things, are Ohavei Yisroel, they are trying to help out the tzibbur.

  11. Easy to pull out the sinah card instead of looking in the mirror. It's not called sinah when there is exposure and people are finally standing up to the bullies. It's hilarious how they try to play victim after all these years of taking advantage of the gullible tzibbur.

    1. You should take it a step farther. It is a little ironic that people who have no problem destroying a town for money are lecturing about sinah, It takes quite a bit of Achzarus to do what they have and are doing.
