  3. Folks, this is how Lakewood is run,in a backroom with a few who CONTROL their little Fiefdom and we are their SERFS. This group is the REAL planning and Zoning board. The folks who serve on the boards are simply puppets and bobbleheads who do the bidding of the few. Some are the very folks who bring us endless traffic jams with no Relief in sight as we shell out our $$$$ to pay for expensive street stop lites, that the developer should have paid for. Maser and their expensive traffic study is one big Band aid that will do very little to the traffic nitemare. Kinda like our expensive pot hole truck (more for Show)as our streets are falling apart

They are not mere bobbleheads they get plenty of kickbacks for their "service".

  4. Folks, Lakewood is a Soprano town (like the Mafia)controlled by a few with their own AGENDA. They are numb and deaf the to the horns blowing every day in longer and longer Traffic jams. By the way, the cutting down of the trees Downtown just made the area even uglier, highliting all the ugly facades, Looks like a Holywood front for a bad Western

Put one foot in front of the other . That is how things get done.you need to start somewhere. Right? First you clean up the clutter then you proceed to fix things. It's just like our bobbleheads.First you get rid of those doing the bidding for the few and then you can start working on positive changes. But you cant get the job done if you have people running that have delusions of grandeur.
      If you are a Democrat
      Vote June 6th
      David Gruman
      Moshe Raitzik
      Republicans please vote
      Abraham Sharaby
      Yosef Travis
If we don't vote, we can't change things for the better.
All of these candidates are ready to do what is needed to stop the irresponsible approvals of developments that do not take the overburdened taxpayers into consideration.

  5. Brilliant plan, approx. 1000 units between Airport Rd. and the Parkway in an INDUSTRIAL zone, on a former garbage(toxic) dump, along the very busy and noisy Parkway and the best part is it's just South of the toxic Cogen plant with LOW smokestacks, perfect for all the deadly fumes to enter all those congested 3 story townhomes. Oh I Forgot the well being of our community is not on any agenda of the real Twp. Committee as noted above by their BACKROOM deals and to hell with everyone else. The residents of a multi family in Brick along the Parkway have been demanding a sound barrier quite a while and they were recently denied. People will not get much sleep at this proposed sit with the roar of the Parkway all nite and breathing in the deadly fumes from the Co Gen plant. Folks call DEP, Cafra division to make them aware of this insane and deadly devolpment. Leave this site as an industrial and a great ratable.

  6. I guess when you're flying in Lear jets ,one tends to be indifferent and numb to the daily insanity of traveling thru Lakewood (and paying ever increasing TAXES)for someone's twisted vision of our town

  8. Raboisai! Don't allow anonymous commenters to sway you. Demand evidence of a. Corruption and b. The ability of any action taken, including voting, to stop the corruption.

If the FBI raid our town, you can rest assured it will be the little guy, who may have fudged a little on an application that he was anyway eligible for, that will pay the price.

Sechel is worth more than ambition, more than drive, more than money and probably even more than honesty.

    1. CPA and Attorney would at least make sense, you can make good money as a tax attorney.

CPA and MD leads me to question your judgement.

    2. a. Evidence of corruption: Houses being built in my neighborhood despite zoning laws and other laws against them, and without sending letters to me, a neighbor, requesting permission to override zoning laws. Houses being built despite township committees' rulings against them being built! And that's only in my neighborhood. It's happening all over Lakewood. The evidence is in front of our eyes.
      b. I agree that whomever we vote for may be influenced by his own power and succumb to the same temptations of the previous office holders, but we have to try to make changes and hope the new office holders will stay strong.

    2. It makes no sense to vote for incumbent Mike D'Elia that was part of Menashe Miller's & Meir Lichtenstein's corrupt move to abolish the rent control board so they could protect a special interest??
