Residents moving soon into Rockwell development in Lakewood

The new Rockwell development for Satmar Chasidim in Lakewood is almost ready and residents will be moving in within a months time. Day camps are already planned for the summer. Over chol Hamoed Pesach prospective buyers came by to see the new neighborhood.

  9. I don't know why everyone is so excited. It is exactly these segregated developements that are destrying Lakewood. They lure in in out of town buyers deliberately to raise the prices of homes. In all the years all developements welcomed Litvish and Chasssidish alike. Now they refuse to sell to local people thus raising demand. THIS MUST BE STOPPED.

    5. the point is that people are not against chasidim. people are against greedy developers and real estate agents who market solely to the New York crowd (not only chasidim), which drives the costs of homes up and prices Lakewooders out of the market.
