PRV residents say deal with cedarbridge did not represent them

Email circulating asking residents to come and speak up tonight at the Planning board meeting 6 pm Lakewood town hall

  1. I personally spoke to a resident involved. There was no vote. They had no say. The people in power made a deal with the devil. Same old, same old...

So can Cedarbridge use this later to say they aren't bound by the agreement?

    1. No individual can be bound by any agreement signed by someone else. It is just a PR Move so they can show the piece of paper and get approvals

    2. Oh.. you mean that now Cedarbridge will get to save their measly 25K and keep the stores open on shabbos??

    3. Like always it depends on which side you are on.

If a large crowd from PRV comes to oppose it and it passes anyway, Cedarbridge will (be able to) say they are no longer obligated in the agreement. PRV will (be able to) say they still are.

This a neutral comment about these type of disagreements, not the actual one at hand.

  4. I love how they made a deal that expires in 25 years, basically saying when all of you PRV resident 'expire' we will do what we want....
