Jackson council votes to approve dorm ban

The Jackson council voted to approve an ordnance banning the construction of dormitories in the township. Jackson residents Members of the orthodox community reached out to township officials to discuss the issue and asked to be  Given a chance to sit down with them and work out a compromise but got no response from officials. A council member said prior to the vote this ordinance is not against any race or religion.

  1. Dear Lakewood VAAD (and the rest of the powers that be), this is all on you. Thanks to what you've done to your town, our neighboring towns are scared of what might happen to them (and rightfully so).

    It`s Chutzpah that we in Lakewood have congested Ocean County traffic.
    Nobody in town will tell their quality of life has improved in the past 10 years.
    We might have more pizza and sushi per square mile than we did then but life is much more stressed.
    People in Jackson have wised up and have been forced to take notice of Lakewood`s "genius".

      Because Lakewood over development has scared the stuffing out of them .
