Billboards approved by just 2 votes, FAA Live stream gets shut down by You tube

Only 3 committeemen showed up to the meeting absent were Miller and Delia. The Billboard company hired a lawyer who claimed there should be no issue of inappropriate content for the Lakewood community since the owners are orthodox and know the Lakewood community. He also said studies show that there is no increase in traffic accidents  because of billboards. Meir Lichtenstein and Ray Coles voted in favor while Issac Ackerman abstained. (Watch for favorable coverage now on the Fake township website.)

From TBL- In a shocking twist, First Amendment Activist you-tube channel which was live streaming the meeting was  terminated by youtube mid-stream. for violating YouTube/Google's terms of service. The channel was back up and running a short while later

  4. So if the owners are Orthodox and a non Jew wants to propose on the Billboard using whatever pics he likes can't pay to get a slot on the screen? It's only for the Orthodox Jewish displays??? That sounds strange for a lawyer to insinuate.

Meir lichtenstein provided inaccurate information as usual . He stated that there is a supreme Court ruling that you cannot prohibit digital billboards and the town is forced to allow them .
    THAT IS A LIE
The truth is that an existing billboards cannot be prevented from becoming digital. In a very strange ruling the Supreme Court decided this in a case where Franklin Township tried banning digital conversion of EXISTING billboards. In this case, there was absolutely no reason to give permission to allow 5 new 40bfoot tall billboards. As a matter of fact, our planning board unanimously rejected the approval.
Rat Coles suddenly changed his mind and now says he studied the matter and says signs are not dangerous. I have no idea where he was able to learn that. All the latest studies from 2016 are quite confident that digital billboards are a clear and present danger.

Now here is the truth .
These billboards were sanctioned because Ray Coles and Meir Lichtenstein is more scared of The Lakewood Scoop than they are of Hefkervelt readers , TBL or FAA. I don't think they realize that people that many adults don't read The Scoop anymore. Let's show these bums, that are taking a risk with our lives in order to get free PR, how much PR they will be getting on Hefkervelt.

I would like to publicly state that whatever little respect I had for Ray Coles and Meir Lichtenstein before, I now somehow have even less. I hope that I am wrong about the signs being a danger, for our own sake.

  7. Let's create a petition that we will boycott all advertisers on the billboards

  8. More corruption and we know they will sell ads to the highest bidder. If an advertiser with deep pockets wants to put up an immoral ad it will go up. Welcome everyone to Las Vegas Wood.

  11. And the stupid shepsalach in this town keep voting these traitors back into office because some rabbis told you to. Or the Vaad told you to. When are you going to start using your own brain? Can't you see that the destruction these people are bringing to this town? You can blame only yourself when in a few years time there's going to be disgusting images up on these billboards.

  15. An abstention is counted toward the majority.
So Ackerman had the controlling vote and he approved the signs

Not true at all. The vote was 2 to 1. Normally when something passes anyway there is no reason to abstain, and in this case he did in order to show he was not for the idea of killer signs .

    2. So why didn't he vote to deny? Truth is he abstained due to a conflict of interest.

    3. If Ackerman wanted to stop it, he could have stayed home and they would have had to cancel the meeting.

The signs were approved because some committeemen need the lakewood scoop owner to make them look good.
I will never forget how one time I saw the corruption and lies right in front of my face
A few years ago some policemen arranged a group to volunteer and paint graffiti along pine street fences and other locations. I tried to get some volunteers but ended up being the only Jewish volunteer. I happily painted for a few hours. Suddenly I saw Lazer hasenfeld show up with a video camera. He was waiting for somebody. Suddenly Meir Lichtenstein and his son arrived . They picked up paintbrushes and carefully painted a fence for a few seconds. Meir thanked the officers for their efforts and said him and his son can't paint anymore because they aren't wearing their paint clothes. I was laughing at them while covered in paint.
This is the article that ended up on the lakewood scoop.

    http://www.thelakewoodscoop.com/news/2010/10/pba-local-71-off-duty-police-officers-paint-the-town-featured-story.html

These sind being approved are no different than open bribery of public officials. It is brazen and a slap in the face to every resident in Lakewood. They have put the lives of every one of us in danger .
Shame on you Meir and Ray. You have really hit a new low.

He did not think billboards was a good idea at all. And whatever conflict of interest he had , they also had and have. Just watch the flood of positive articles for Coles and Lichtenstein that will be on the scoop. They need all the positive spin in the coming months as their positions will be challenged.

I was being sarcastic. It was a little wink to hasenfeld and meir that I didn't care that I was walking around with white paint on my shoes for 3 months after while meir gets credit for his little 5 second photo op. And laser made sure not to show me painting in the pictures at all. He didn't print the other comment that I wrote which was a little more critical of his propaganda. His website was fake news ahead of its time.

    5. While most will agree that this doesn't sit right with them, however, the approval of the oak street corridor and the major traffic problems of this town (which are a huge safety issue), make the billboard issue pale in comparison!

    6. It's all the same problem. Elected officials ignoring the needs of the community and doing favors for buddies who help them. It's called corruption and they should be ashamed of it.
