  1. Why is 7th,8th and 9th considered town town?
I wonder if it has anything to do with bmg.

  2. Why does Benny keep on repeating that he is "one of us" when he clearly is NOT one of us. He is on the vadd and he is one of shenkolewskys right hand man among other things.

  3. Yes. BMG is the biggest institution in our town. Unless you don't like all that Torah.

    1. Geographical locations are indifferent to spirituality. Geographical locations are also indifferent to your feelings of spirituality. Or anyone else's for that matter.

    2. What does torah have to do with down town?

  4. How interesting, they propose making Clifton a one way street Southbound, at the same time that all of the high density developments are on the South Side of town.

I am sure this will make things much more convenient for all the people living on 14th St. Just like dumping all new developments on the South Side of town has. there are more people currently living on the South side of town then North of the lake, any objective review would suggest that if Clifton is a one way, it should be South bound.

Did Ben ever try go North on Cedarbridge? Has he ever tried turning left from Cedarbridge onto Main (or right for that matter)?

This is not Manhattan or Downtown Philly that are in a grid pattern and have numerous parallel streets.

  5. The Housing Density Subcommittee of the Master Plan Committee will be meeting on Tuesday Feb. 28 at 6:00 in the Municipal Building at 231 3rd Street.

Please attend the meeting and tell them that we want no increases in density anywhere in Lakewood!!

Tell them that instead of increasing density, they should write up recommendations encouraging the zoning board to follow the law and stop illegal spot-zoning.

  6. Manhatten and down town philly have laws that are enforced . Manhatten and downtown philly have infrastructure. Lakewood clearly does not enforce laws nor do they have any infrustructure.
Also , why is 7th 8th and nighth streets considered down town? Is this done to satisfy certain orgs. Or developers? Or yeshivas?

  10. So basically there would be only 1 way to get from Southside of lakewood to the north side at that end of town via route 9. Do So you not realize how insane that would be? What kind of bottlenecking that would cause? What needs to be done is make more ways to cross over the lake and get across this over congested town. Making Clifton ave 1 way does not sound like an option. Have you thought of how would emergency vehicles get thru? How would this affect school busses? This sounds like something you need big proffessionals to do a study over a long period of time and make suggestions and possibly do a trial. Btw if Benny is one of us why weren't we invited to the other meetings why only to 1 of the last ones when they are ready to implement their ideas???? You guys must realize you're all basically out the door so shape up or well show you the one way out! We've had enough of you
