Dr. Shanik- Zika Travel ban still in effect for Miami Dade county until next month

In a Letter dated December 12, 2016 Lakewood pediatrician Dr. Shanik wrote there is still a travel ban to Certain areas of Florida.
"While there have been no new cases of Zika Virus in the last 45 days there is still a partial ban on travel to Miami Dade county for at least the next month. This still means that no women of child bearing age and/or their husband should travel to Miami Dade county, Florida due to the possibility of contracting the Zika virus, also anyone  that travels to that area can bring the virus back and cause further spreading locally.... All other areas of Florida are safe for travel as of now. DR Shanik & DR. Heimowitz."

  1. Stick to Boca (outside Miami Dade County).

  2. Shtussim. The cdc said it's clear. Made no mention of an additional month. It's also made up Shtussim and the businesses there suffer because of made up, unsubstantiated "claims"

    1. Before declaring "shtussim", did you check the CDC?
