  2. Anyone who votes for the Igud and Vaad candidates are hurting himself as well as his neighbors, neighborhood and town, with the exception of Akerman.

    1. So who should we vote for for BOE, congress, sheriff, freeholders? Any ideas? The other options are absolutely worthless

    2. Vote Dovid Egert for BOE. There is not much to do this election to spite the Vaad but voting Egert is a start. Dont wait a year to next election to vote against the vaad, the politicians must be reached out to and let them know the Lakewood taxpayers should not be taken for granted. Self appointed self serving askanim the game is up.

    3. Vote for Dovid Egert??? What qualifications does he bring to the table?? As far as I can see, the answer is NONE.

    4. What qualifications do any of the other vaad candidates have? did we hear a peep from them? NO
Dovid got himself on the ballot hes a hard working lakewood citizen and he even reached out to explain his positions in a Aabury park press article.

  4. Am I the only person frightened that there is a polling site on BMG property and that they send out messages to vote a certain way and the person sending the messages is on the election board? Can we get ANY MORE CORRUPT? Reb Aaron would never allow any of this. It shtinks fin oiven biz arup

    1. Although I still remain your fan and that you have pointed out legitimate corruption many times in the past.. But I fail to understand why moving the polling place to a safer, roomier, and way more convenient venue is in any way wrong?? Why should thousands of people be inconvenienced to walk the few blocks and wait online in cramped quarters when it is so much easier to just bring the ballot boxes to an area which has greater capacity and is so much closer.. Seriously, I think that you are over-reaching on this issue.

  6. What the vaad does is a microcosm of the Democratic machine bring new voters by registering all newcomers to vote in NJ than scare them to the polls with empty threats or issues that cannot be fixed of course a letter from a gadol will always be procured a day before. The result is a long line of clueless brochurim and youngeleit holding little vaad issued ballot samples going to vote. It's only when they own a home and taxes hit them in the pocket that they wake up.

  7. The Lakewood Republican club seems to think that I am not allowed to be a member because I ran against their candidates previously . They are refusing my membership based on something I did while I was not a member. Their bylaws are not something that can be changed to exclude whomever they wish. We live in a free country still and we cannot respect a Republican club to control our choice for candidate that does not allow any member that wishes to join. Please join me tonight and join the Republican Club . Festivities are at 730 at the Strand theater. Membership costs 10 dollars which is offset by delicious free Danishes from Gelbsteins. Come show the Republicans that real change starts from the ground up,and we are ready to finally make Lakewood Great for everyone. Bob Singer will be taking questions. You can ask him how Lakewood got to this point and what he plans on doing about fixing it. Ask him why he voted for the gas tax as well.
Fun,Refreshments and politics. Who could ask for anything more?
