1:50:00 motion denied for Netherwood/ Cross street subdivision  
2:33:55 Residents point out issues with proposed shul on Williams street 
2:46:00 Cong. Zichron Chazon Ish approved on Williams street 
2:58:30 Yeshiva on Gudz comes back for tem approval- approved

  1. So basically it all comes down to who you know and how well connected you are. Some shuls have been bounced around at the planing board for years (wesgate anyone) and here a shul gets approved on first try.

  2. MEMORIALIZATION OF RESOLUTIONS
    2:00- Resolution of Appointment – Oak St Corridor Subcommittee which will allow the developers to build in the Oak St Corridor without any approval from the planning board, zoning board and without giving public notice. Planning Board member Mr. John Franklin struggles with the chairman Mr. Rennerrt and Brain Flannery as he demands full public notice, no subcommittee and no blanket approval for the Oak Street Corridor.

    4:40 - Mr. Hibberson questions Brian Flannery why is he saying if.
    5:40 – Board Member Mr Franklin questions Brain Flannery. Mr. Jackson Esq. does not like that he is not in line with approving the resolution.
    8:10 - Mr. Jackson Esq. suggests he can discuss this with board members in private.
    8:45- Chairman says whoever wants can volunteer to be on subcommittee. Mr. Jackson rejects
    12:00 – Mr. Franklin continues to question. Township officials pushing hard.
    13:30- Edward Listen Esq. suggest they wait until the court has it say and not waist time approving a committee that might be struck down by the judge. Township officials pushing hard.
    16:17 - Mr. Hibberson questions.
    16:55 – chairman says let all current board members be on the subcommittee. Township officials do not like this suggestion. Suddenly the need time to study if this is possible.
    20:15 – was pushed off to next meeting.



    20:25 – other resolutions approved.

    22:40- Joseph & Renee Klein East 8th Street did not give public notice. Chairman demands they give notice. Not approved.
    23: 55- SP 2194AA Jacob Steinberg Buckwald Court- did not give public notice. Chairman demands they give notice. Josh Shmukler wiggles his way out. Motion approved.

    28:42 - SP 2195AA Gershon Eichorn West Cross Street- did not give public notice. Chairman demands they give notice. Office of township says they neighbors are aware. Motion approved.


    35:50- Edward Listen Esq. suggest they push off an application to the 26th of Oct. Approved.

    40:40 – chairman demands the applicant coordinates with the neighbors.

    1. SD 2145 ARM Realty & Construction Netherwood Drive (Ahron Mansur) – 44:20- Miriam Weinstein esq. and Brain Flannery speak.
    46:15 – chairman changes.
    46:45- Mr. Jackson Esq. and board members question Brian and Miriam.
    1:00:28 – Brain Fllanery for a variance of 60 Ft instead of 90 Ft.
    1:01:38 – Member asks why is this variance needed. Brain says so to minimize the size of the road so the township will have less road space to maintain.
    1:22:35- Neighbor testifies pro. Mr. Jackson Esq. says that the board cannot guarantee that the road will open up to thorough traffic because it is up to the township. Neighbor changes his position.
    1:28:20 – Neighbor testifies
    1:31:18 - Neighbor testifies against. Mr. Jackson Esq. hackles that he is not close enough to the proposed project. Says the road will open eventually and this will cause immense traffic. Brian holds to his logic.
    1:37:05 - Neighbor demands a permanent barrier. Asks for a fence between his property and the development. Ahron Mansur accuses the neighbor of selfishness.
    1:40:06- Neighbor speaks. Neighbor testifies against. Says the road will open eventually and this will cause immense traffic.
    1:41:30 - Neighbor testifies pro.
    1:42:47 - Neighbor testifies pro.
    1:47:50 – board in stalemate. Application not approved.
    1:49:58 – Voting again to deny. Application fails

    SD 2150 Platinum Developers- South Bell Avenue – motion approved
    2. SD 2152 JMR Enterprises, Henry Street, Minor Subdivision to create four lots
    2:23:43- Neighbor in favor. Motion approved.
    3. SD 2154 Bais Rivka Rochel, 4th Street Block 127, Lot 4 Preliminary and Final Major Subdivision to create 5 lots
    4. SP 2204AA Congregation Zichron Chazon Ish - Williams Street - Change of Use/Site Plan Exemption to convert existing house into a synagogue.
    2:33:40 – neighbor opposes. Says it not an existing shul and the applicant is seeking to build himself a tax exempt home. Says the applicant will not correspond with the current neighbors. Says a competitive shul will affect raising funds for current Shul. Also concerned that kids might go to other Shul and it will be hard to supervise them.

    2:46:12 – Motion approved.
    5. 2:46:50 – Chaim Abadi gets special treatment.
    2:58:45 – Neighbor opposes. Says neighbors did not get notice.
    3:01:20 - Neighbor opposes. Says it’s the previous applicant under a different name. Mr. Jackson Esq. does his best to fight him off. Says neighbors did not get notice. Mr. Jackson Esq. Pushes back.
    3:09:00 - Mr. Jackson Esq. mentions the application mentions a temp shul. Mr. Fllanery says they can limit the shul to 2 years. Says eventually will build homes.
    3:11:02 – Neighbor mentions a synagogue is currently being built with proper parking.
    3:12:00 – Neighbor opposes.
    3:15:15 – Board member claims this application has improvements.
    3:15:40 – Owner of site Mr. Yechezkel Pietrokovsky says he wants to build on site asap. He served him with eviction notices because of issues that came up from the neighbors. If applicant won’t keep to the rules he will evict him immediately. Motion approved.

When you ask hashem to look out for his children think about all the kids who cant join their father in shul because of the kinah and sinah that is preventing shuls from being built and for those non connected fatheres who have boys under 11 years old. Also pray for the safety of all children in westgate that you were so previously concerned about the bussing situation is very dangerous.

  12. Treff should be given a big Yasher Koach since they take in even very weak boys and they work on the Bochur! It is a big thing that they take in every boy! Kudos to Treffs for taking in all kids that apply to them!!!!

You're right it's unbelievable that a week before rosh hashana dozens of kinderlach can't daven in shul with their tatty because some big tzaddikim opposed the shul building because of safety and some nashim tzidkaniyos opposed the shul building because of tznius. And then came the bussing saga which has mommys and tattys all waiting together at the bus stop while the safety of all kinderlach is severely jeopardized!

  15. Boruch Hashem for Treffs Yeshiva . If a Bochur can't get in to a Yeshiva they always have an option of going to Treffs place" ! At least there is one Yeshiva that takes in everyone! It's great that someone has the guts to take in all the weak boys
