  1. That's right , township sells 300 lots to help a housing shortage, and a few outside groups buy them up.

  3. What blasphemy! What abuse and crass commercialization of a PASUK from the TORAH - I guess for some people only the almighty dollar is holy

  4. Is this the Borough Park Klausenberg, or his brother in Israel that he hasn't spoken to in 20 years?

  6. Once again. We are selling our town to developers while we will foot the bill. Once again short sightedness wins out over common sense. Our new wonderful Lakewood residents will need services that will far exceed the taxes being produced. The amount of extra traffic will be felt by every resident. A large portion of the property of course will be tax free. Asher Brodt, and our Township yes boys, Meir and Menashe, do whatever they must in order to stay in business. Now we will need to stop this insanity which becomes our burden. We can stop all this development instantly. We must do it as soon as we can.

    1. the traffic part is true. the services exceeding the taxes is not. it's best if we stick to tainos that are true. if we also say false ones we won't be taken seriously even about true and important ones.

    2. Do the math. I dont know who you are but you know nothing about urban planning. Call any planning or zoning board member in another town. Ask them why they don't approve housing whenever they can. The answer is costs. True we don't have kids that need public schools, but the volume per unit makes up for that. The numbers don't lie. Since housing exploded our taxes have quadrupled. In a mere 15 years. That is unheard of in any town anywhere. Housing costs. Commercial and industrial makes money. Housing needs to be funded by commercial. The taxes collected are not ever enough unless we charge 20 thousand a unit.
