  1. Chutzpah they have to spit one of their senior members in the face, and to push costumers to a big competition!

  2. Perhaps there are sponsors who paid to have it in their location. Dont just shoot from the hip.

  4. Stam hocking, you are on the money! How do we all stand and watch the tza'ar they are heaping on same Senior member who has been moser nefesh for the Tzibbur for years. Lo Saamod al Dam Re'echa. An organization that should put health and wellbeing as its highest priority has sold out to outside investors who are speculating on Lakewood.

  5. Welcome to Lakewood. Local businesses that have given all the years to help build our town are left by the gutter as soon as a few dollars are flashed in their face . Stores that came running from Brooklyn to make money at our expense try to make it seem like they are contributing to our community but they are really taking millions out and spending it in Brooklyn. Supporting Brooklyn moisdos. Paying tuition over there. So many perfectly good businesses were hurt by this market whose intention is to lose money for a few years and take over those that can't hold out. It is not proper for any local charity to partner in such a cause. It is not right when rosh yeshiva go and put up mezuzas on businesses whose goal us to put our local ones out of business. They are able to come here and lose money for a few years since they are making money in Brooklyn or Williamsburg. Our local businesses are not able to compete with businesses able to stay open for a loss. And hatzola should be ashamed

  6. I commend this site for Having the courage and moral Integrity to publish comments that speak cogently against an outrage that is taking place in our town. Charity is not above every other moral or ethic. You cannot pay for corrupt business practices by redeeming your ill-gotten gains with Tzedoko.

  7. Your voices have been heard! The co-opting of Hatzolah has been stopped and the event will take place in the Hatzolah building. Yasher Koach to the tzibbur for the appropriate reaction and Yasher Koach to Hatzolah for listening! May this be a Super Successful campaign and may Hatzolah's calls be limited IYH only to Simchas needing speedy delivery to hospitals.

  8. Why the silence and what is been going with a long time fundraiser who gives his heart and soul for the organization. He's been slowly pushed out only to have some Rabbonim stand up for him. Where is the outrage? Do you only stand up for well connected askanim and members but for a fundraiser you let him hang out to dry.

  9. I beg to differ it's about time people have a choice to buy at lower prices. For too long stores took advantage by charging crazy prices selling expired items and not providing costumer service.. Thank you to the new stores who made all other stores up their game.
