Township passes no weapons resolution at first energy park ahead of hip hop concerts

Wondering why the township passed an ordinance against carrying weapons at first energy park? well the Line up at "adventure in the park" is to include hip hop rapper  Lil Wayne who will be coming to Lakewood, along with 1000's of druggies and gang members. Who will pay for all the Police, First aid and Riot Control at this event? APP reports "The festival comes at a time when recent hip-hop events in East Rutherford and New York City have been plague by violence."
On a lighter note, in honor of shavuos the Jersey shore wine festival  will take place in Lakewood at first Energy park June 11 and 12.

  2. "Druggies and gang members?" You make it sounds like the people in town are superior and never do anything wrong. Perhaps they can do some outreach and convince them just not be violent when they do wrong instead to blend-in.

  4. This is wonderful news for the nearby residents who were not told about the gas station and that there will be off season events at the stadium.
