  1. My daughter has to shlep to school for an hour and a half, on buses that take just as long to get to and from school? Whoever approved this change in schedule should be fired or voted out of office.

  2. Instead of getting all hot under the collar, simply don't send your daughter that day.
    That's what I'll be doing.

  3. Enough of us being dictated on how and when and who should be responsible to take our children to school. Let's hire private drivers and we won't keep being manipulated. The only thing the "fun unzere" ever campaign about is busing and it's not worth it. Let's pay our own way and we will save by voting in the right people.

  4. This is an outrage the school district has no legal right to dictate or force change in the dismissal times of the private schools. Do they expect kids to show up to school for only one hour???. Why are the Roshei mosdos silent why is the Igud silent? Take the school district to court.

  5. Only parents have a right to busing not Mosdos. Only a parent can sue. Let a few parents get together and take the district to court. Why do parents always expect somebody else to do things for them.

    1. The Igud should arrange it to sue as should the vaad. They take our votes for granted selling the Brooklyn bridge to the olam about busing. Now lets see what they can do.

  6. Nobody is selling anything about busing. Courtesy busing is gone for good.

    1. Your in denial or outright lying. The Lakewood Vaad and Igud have been dangling the busing threat for years in order to get the olam in Lakewood to vote for their candidates. All of a sudden now when the bluff was called and out in the open the denials come pouring in. Shame on all of them.

  7. Up until last year there was courtesy busing. Going forward courtesy busing from the BOE is not happening. Get your facts straight.

  8. Its very easy to be an anonymous blogger to complain about others . Do something positive like make a school or do something else that requires time and effort and money and then open your mouth.

  10. The Igud is simply a group of people who give up their lives and in many cases without pay ,to educate 25,000 of our children. They would be more than happy if you would take out of your precious blogging time and join in helping to educate and teach our precious children. Unless you don't think that is important.

  11. The rebbeim and moros are educating. Does the I guy make sure all children have a place at get into school? Where is the igud when it's not election season for the BOE? The Igud asked the plan many times to vote for their choice candidate on the BOE. How has that helped All schools.

  12. Nobody individual has a responsibility more than yourself to get all kids into school. Its your responsibility just as much. The individuals who made schools did what they could to educate a few hundred kids. Do you expect one individual to take responsibility for30,000 kids ?There are 2 new classes born every week in Lakewood. All we are asking is that all the bloggers take responsibility for educating a few hundred kids ,no more.

  13. All the Igud did is to ask people to vote for BOE members ,the type if people who want to help your children .There are numerous people who believe your children should get no services.if you want to vote for them go ahead. It has nothing to do with tax dollars. The people who don't like us don't want our children to get even those things that do not come from local taxes. They either don't like us period , or just believe that non public school kids have no rights of any kind. So if you would rather vote those people in ,be my guest. With a state monitor ,even the good people can't do that much but its still better than having people who just want to hurt our children.

  14. What a stupid question " where us the Igud when its not elections " .The Igud is not a political body. It is simply the people who volunteered to arrange education for our 30,000 children, who see how the BOE has become so difficult in giving YOUR children the few paltry services they are entitled to by law .They are just telling you the facts as they see them that voting for certain individuals might make that a little easier for YOUR child to get some services or books etc. If you don't care about that then don't listen to their recommendation and vote for the people who believe that private school children don't deserve anything. Its your child who will get less or you will just have to start paying a few hundred extra dollars per year for books etc.
