  1. Oilum has been using the shoulder on Central to Rt 9 since yetzias mitzrayim. The only hindrance is the rishusdikeh mishtara who show up to dole out summonses every so often. Rishoim mamish!

  2. Mayor Menash, forget Vibe street why wont you out up a light at the intersection of Pine and MLK? How long is the wait to activate the traffic signal at Pine and the entrance to Pine River village its been up for almost 10 years do we have to wait until Cedarbridge park will be fully occupied?

    1. You are fighting a lonely battle with your constant comments regarding that light on Pine. There is rarely anyone backed up there, I have never had to wait longer then 2 minutes to turn there, it is better not to have the light there turned on.

    2. "lonely battle" Ask all the seniors living in Pine River if they can cross over Pine street. Try it yourself see how long it takes. Try even making a right turn out of Ave of the states onto Pine. Cars come speeding down the hill it's impossible to enter the roadway. There are ulterior motives for not activating the traffic light. Could be Residents of Sommerset walk don't want it or perhaps it will force to put up a light at Pine and MLK which someone nearby is adamantly against it.

    3. does anybody know why menashe is not going to allow a light at MLK/Pine? Its a fact that he is blocking it!
why would he want all that traffic in front of his house??

    5. I don't turn out of the senior development so I couldn't tell you. I am not allowed on their private roads, but if that is a problem, they can turn onto Washington.

I do turn onto Pine from Avenue of the Americas and back daily, with no problems.

As far as cars speeding down Pine, it is a flat street with good visibility. Not only are there much bigger problems, but your proposed solution is worse then the problem. It would result in cars backed up on Pine waiting for a light, when most of the time there would be no cars from the senior development making use of it

    6. Its not a flat street its a hill coming from new hampshire towards Avenue of the States cars do speed the road goes down hill. The light can be motion sensored activated like it is all across many intersections along rt 9 so if there are no cars waiting to cross or turn it would be green.

    7. There were and continue to be accidents at the Pine Ave of the states intersection. The light that is already installed should be activated. Its pure politics why it has not been turned on. Pine street is heavy traffic regardless the minute wait for cars to turn and cross over should make no difference it needs a traffic light and its past due.

seriously?? this is in his front yard- do you think for a second he didnt make it clear to all committeemen that he doesnt want it there. This is the least of the issues he should recuse himself from....

  4. if you put a light at MLK the traffic will be much worse. imagine having a red light for 2 minutes.it will be backed up all the way to new hampshire by the time it turns green.the only thing that would work there is a stop sign. think about it .....

    1. Are you on the Mayors payroll?? Pine street is backed up daily for 15 minutes because of the 3 way stop sign!!a red light would allow more cars to travel through at one shot. According to your logic there should not be any red lights anywhere rather replace all intersections with 4 way stop signs. BTW a few years ago there was a temporary traffic signal but the powers that be had it removed.

    2. Menashe has a reason he doesn't want a light-hearted does anybody have a clue why? A light is the most logical thing for that intersection. Why wouldn't he want it there??!! Can't we go above him and have the matter investigated and get a light installed? Makes no sense that he has the power to inconvenience hundreds of people daily with no reasoning.

I personally love to sit in traffic on pine street. I often end up in front of Mayor Menashe Miller's home and have time to count all the cars in his driveways.

    1. I enjoy the traffic too- I feel good blocking his driveway. But seriously- what his reasoning and how can we get it approved without him.
