LCSW responds to neighboring towns allegations

Jackson, Toms River, are among neighboring towns to Lakewood who have asked LCSW to cease patrolling their streets.
Recently, the Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch has been the subject of unsubstantiated, ignorant, untrue and misleading allegations that were disseminated over the internet.
Just to clarify who we are and what we do:
The LCSW is a volunteer community watch organization that has been operating in Lakewood for the past ten years. We work hand-in-hand with the Lakewood Police Department, and share a very close relationship with the police force. We are in constant communication with law enforcement, and never embark on operations without coordinating a plan with the proper authorities. We greatly respect the LPD, and they have consistently expressed to us how much they appreciate our assistance in combatting crime and keeping our town safe for all communities and residents.

The LCSW is not in any way affiliated with any individual community. We are comprised of a very diverse group of volunteers from every sector of the community – with members from all genders, ethnicities, faiths, backgrounds and professions . We patrol every neighborhood in Lakewood and are dedicated to helping the residents and police keep every area safe for all of Lakewood’s citizens,
Our devoted and selfless volunteers are all very well trained and experienced in their work. They have received thorough training in Search and Rescue and Neighborhood Watch procedures, and are graduates of CERT training courses.
While the LCSW’s operations are, for the most part, limited to Lakewood, we have on occasion been asked to patrol in other cities and towns throughout New Jersey. However, we never enter municipalities without first coordinating with the local authorities.
Recently, the LCSW received requests for patrols from numerous residents of the Rte. 70 area near the Lakewood-Toms River border. During his zone patrol, one of our members drove his marked vehicle down one block on North Apple St. in Toms River. We apologize if his presence on the street distressed anyone in any way.
We are aware that the Toms River Chief of Police has expressed an interest in learning more about LCSW and has contacted the Lakewood Police Department to inquire about the work of LCSW and learn more about our patrols and volunteer activities on behalf of the community, and we welcome having a dialogue with anyone interested in our organization.

  1. Just because you have volunteers does not give you the right to just step into a town and say "hello im here".
As it is you stalk innocent people in lakewood. If you are there to protect then why are u stalking.

    1. do you think residents & Police of Jackson (and TR) can keep an eye on your town? (we deal with enough break-ins & other issues in lakewood alone) perhaps then we would stop getting calls for us to come to Jackson from residents there that Jackson Police are not assisting them right away with issues of people on drugs running around & robbers into home break-ins.

We would appreciate that if you can start your own volunteer squad keeping an eye on the streets of Jackson so no burglars happen or other illegal stuff.

      THANK YOU

We have all heard stories of LCSW members busying themselves with personal vendettas and tailing people. Following people suspected of doing things they shouldn't be doing. Is That even legal to use tax money to give to these hooligans to try and get shmutz on people they don't like? I heard they threatened the chief of police and are trying to decide who the next chief should be. Is this a thing we should support? Using UEZ money for new vehicles and then parking for hours in front of businesses in Howell? How does that protect the downtown? Or the Industrial Park? Parking by Gourmet Glatt private lot is not a public service. Parking in Jackson 711 is not a benefit TO UEZ businesses. Using Township gas for personal use does not benefit the town. Creating dubious invoices for tens of thousands of dollars at a time for advertising in the lakewood shopper is an egregious conflict of interest. All of their actions are ignored by our mayor and others in law enforcement that either fear them or just don't want to deal with the inevitable mud slinging that would ensue by fighting them. I have been on that mud slinging side. It is annoying and relentless, the amount of lies these individuals can swiftly spread with their ability to print a magazine. It is sad that any of us still look at, let alone advertise in a magazine That is used to Lynch people publicly whenever they decide they don't like someone. How do the Rabonim of our town allow such a magazine, and such an organization as the LCSW and another cover organization ironically called Chesed of Lakewood. The individuals running the above mentioned organizations are far from people that can be associated with doing Chesed. They are just power hungry, corrupt children out to hurt people they don't like. Unfortunately that list of who they don't like has grown to the point that there is nobody left that likes them.

Please understand. Any allegations i made towards LCSW ARE PURELY FACTUAL. not fictional like the things they make up and spread about people to hurt them.
I was shown countless invoices, signed checks from Menashe Miller, totalling in the tens of thousands for ridiculous fake services. I saw along with others videos of gas being taken for personal vehicles not used for lcsw service. I have heard horror stories about coercion, blackmail, and rechilus. I sat back and enjoyed the show. Because some of their enemies were people I felt were not so good for our town. So I sat back and kept quiet as they destroyed cops that didn't cowtow to their wishes. Public servants that didn't give them the funds they wanted. Organizations that they wanted to control, such as Bikur Cholim, Chai lifeline and many others.
Then they came for me. What was simply a friendly matter of obtaining a legally required parking lot for a building illegally built and hurting local businesses, turned into a string of lies, and rechilus, not only from them, but all the good people they fooled into following them. Their involvement was motivated by money, and they hid behind rabbonim of our town and tricked them by making me the evil closer of moisdos. They even went as far as to lie and say that I maasered on all yeshiva dormitories to have them closed (I don't think I can name more than three yeshivas in this town, let alone know if they have dormitories). All I can say is that they caused a lot of irreparable rechilus to be spread about people that did nothing wrong other than step on their toes accidentally. They are a dangerous group and need to be removed like any tumor should be. I would just like to say to all the rabbonim that believed their lies during the whole Bais Horaah fiasco, I am moichel each and every one of you. But I cannot be Moichel those that spread vicious lies, and even after the problem was resolved(by me) continued to attack and spread more hate in order to feel vindicated.
I am asking each and every person that reads this blog and understands the severity of these people's actions to not contribute to the hurt they cause people. When the Lakewood Shopper comes to your door throw it straight in the trash. Or do what I did years ago, ask that it not be delivered. Ask your favorite eatery or gas station to remove it from their entrance.
Now let's try to move on to some more positive things iy"h.
