Are we reaching all those who need help

Submitted via comment.
This morning during davening a fellow came around collecting holding a Tomchei Tzedaka Ishur. A quick glance at him said he was not the regular Meshulach from Eretz Yisrael. He was a clean shaven guy looked American and than I saw his name and address. He lives right here in Lakewood regular guy has a job married with kids but cant make ends meet. He is now going around in shuls by himself collecting for pesach and other expenses. A friend of mine approached him and offered to help him with local chesed and tzedaka organizations. He was either too embarrassed or not well connected and he fell through the cracks.
Lakewood is a huge place there are many of tzedaka and chesed org's but they cant and dont get to everyone. Please Rabbosei we all know how much Yom Tov costs. Look around your block, your shul, if you see someone you think can use some money try to help him either directly, or through a Rav or aquaintance. The time before Pesach is short not enough time to rely on tzedaka and askanim. You can be your own gabbai for the next few days. Thank you.
