  1. If they just make more parking spaces this will be a non-issue.
    It`s not rocket science .
    Just common sense.
The only problem will be that nobody will be labeled a mumar and there will be no fun

  9. if they really cared about the klal they would just rent an office in any building for a minimum cost of 300 a month and they wouldnt have to go crazy with dinners to fund the Bais Horaa. And maybe they would actually have extra money to pay these choshuve rabbonim better for taking of their time to answer shaalos.
I'm not sure why a bais Horaa needs to have a state of the art building on the highest real estate Market. a small office in a nice building is choshuv enough. or rent an office in a shul.... But put up a huge building with a crazy expensive shul and start a kollel and plus ......... and then expect everyone to stop and make room for your parking. I dont know whos the gveer behind this but who ever he is if he really cared he would sell a peice of marble of the aron kodesh and dome ceiling he made and buy the property next door and make parking for his mitzva of creating a bais horaa...... dont spend the millions on the interior and then leave the parking for all the store owners to donate...buy another property for your parking.

Maybe I'm missing something here.... dont get me wrong I love the bais Horaa and what it does but not the way it was done.
matbe someone else can shed light here

the answer to your question is that glick needs it to look important because he is building 100 apartments where the capitol is. Those apartments need to be tax free in order to make a PROFIT. so he sill say that they are housing for the bais horaah kollel down the block. its all about money. on the shoulders of others.

    1. no reason to close a mikvah. it just needs to be understood that a mikvah that was plopped smack dab in the middle of a densely populated neighborhood is a bonus for those that can handle the situation. For all others there are other options in town.
you can't keep an entire neighborhood hostage because of a stuped planning mistake on the part of some Ass konim.
you can't force hundreds to daven in basements like sardines, and you can't stop children from playing in parking lots, and you can't stop people from walking on the is streets because some women may may not feel comfortable. It's the reality of all mikvaos in densely populated areas, and each individual needs to deal with it however it works best for them, without inconveniencing an entire neighborhood.

    2. Please! Everyone knows that the Mikveh is being used as a smokescreen to hide the fact that it's pure kinah and sinah that is making these "tzaddik im" oppose the Helberg shul. They can't take the fact that there's a shul in west gate that's successful and that the oilom is happy davening there precisely because it's run in a way that caters to the ppl davening there and goes out of its way, above and beyond, to make it pleasant and appealing for the mispallelim regardless of who they are or how big their bank balance or mouthpiece is!! It is run by a Rov who EARNS the respect of the mispallelim through personal example as opposed to being run by bullies who DEMAND respect through intimidation and arm twisting.

  12. Everyone stop wasting your time, almost half the yungerleit walk to the kollel. Parking is an issue and it will only get worse with the growing community. And obviously the Bais Hora'ah is wanted by most people of this town,as there are close to 10 thousand phone calls a month.and most of the stores are very happy with the Bais Hora'ah including the closest neighbors. So go find something else to do.
