Are we getting the real inside story?

Last week it was TVOL with a headline "The inside story about the Bais Horaah" the article had no inside story but a PR piece. This week, following up on the planning board meeting the Lakewood Shopper wrote its version of an inside story as a news article with the headline "Community comes out in support of the Bais Horaah" but the article was more of an attack on what it called a disgruntled individual a rabble rouser who spread rumors lies and misinformation and that in truth the permits were always there for the BH. This is not what was said at the public meeting.
Why are these papers that we bring into our homes used as platforms to settle scores and personal attacks? How is that a News story? Can we really believe they are telling us the truth and giving us an honest report?

It is with a heavy heart that I realize all the wrong that I have done.I had no Idea until I read this article how much trouble I caused to innocent people.
I would like to take this opportunity to publicly ask mechila from Mr. Glick and his friends Burstyn and Wenger. You gentlemen are all honest and upright citizens who only want to do good for others, and I had become blinded by my thirst for power and attention. I would also like to ask Harav Shlomo Miller to be moichel me for misunderstanding what he said and all the bitul torah I may have caused. Wenger and Bursztyn have a reputation with all the chesed that they do, and i hope that one day I can do even a tenth of all the good that they accomplish. Again my deepest apologies for causing all the problems, the blame should all be placed on me. please forgive me.

  11. I personally couldn't care less about the downtown. However their article was complete lies as anyone who watched even part of the zoning board meeting on this site can attest.

If they have no problem lying in their paper about something that there are videos posted online about, then there is no doubt that these people have no qualms about lying when speaking to Rabbonim.

Probably posted it as a letter to the editor so they won't be sued. Although if someone is determined, that likely wouldn't help.
