This weeks Voice of Lakewood, feature story reviews Lakewood's development plans. Township plans to appoint a master plan committee that will determine what is in the best interests of the town in regards to zoning and planning. Regarding rt 9 traffic Township officials claim we did our part... now its up to the state to come up with a way to widen it. Committee plans to create a fund where developers will have to put money for every unit they build to pay for public needs such as parks and infrastructure.

  3. Now that all the land in Lakewood has approved lots, they'll make a new master plan with restrictions. These is no more unapproved land anyway. These dense overcrowded developments were approved on the watch of the current committee members and now their hero's for saying enough ???
