  1. Yet the Lakewood Scoop, the shopper and the voice will not discuss this anti Semitic affront to our rights.it was never about the menorah, it was about an anti Semitic demand that it being removed. The local media doesn't want you to know how inept and corrupt some of our fun unzere and nisht fun unzere Committeemen are. How unqualified our Township attorney is. They don't Want us to know, because they get favors from those people. Don't rock the boat if you have it good.
A great big Yasher Koach goes to Mayor Akerman for publicly apologizing even though he was outnumbered and misled. Menashe Meir, Delia and Coles simply hid under a rock. Menashe and Meir should especially apologize for not standing up for their community and religious rights against a blatantly anti Semitic attack. I still believe they should resign before they cause us further embarrassment and chillul hashem. Their hubris is astonishing. I am shocked they didn't learn a lesson from Sheldon Silver.

  2. This story has hit the new York times and I received phone calls from Los Angeles and Israel. Yet MATZAV, yeshiva world news and the Yated have not reported it. Now we see clearly who controls much of frum media. Sorry guys. The story is out there. You showed what you are made of. Meir and Menashe need to go.

  3. No, Hershele. It just goes to show how the media controls everthing. They take a story that NOBODY cares about and make a big story out of it. It's just the media doing it's thing, that's all.

  7. Sorry to say but the average Lakewood resident does not want this tumul or media attention. In this case it is HH and a few of his followers against the vast majority.

  8. It was stupid to take down the menorah. It was a lot more stupid to make the fuss and involve the media and purposely draw attention to us.

  9. Somebody made himself a self proclamed spokesman to give a whole town unwanted attention . This is typical self interest

    1. This was the most positive attention lakewood has has had in years. Maybe not positive for the township attorney and Menashe and Meir who defended their actions, but it was positive for Lakewood. I was a spokesman for myself. Not the entire Lakewood. But it seems most people were truly disgusted by the way our attorney and fun unzere Committeemen, again not including Akerman, handled it, and agreed with me. If you think you would be a better spokesman. Put your name where your mouth is and speak up for what you see is wrong. Oh, I forgot you are scared of me. Get a life.

    1. Yes app had it first. And Vos iz neias.but the scoop acted as if it never happened. I hope everyone now sees that the scoop the shopper and the voice are propaganda. They don't provide real news or issues. Only what is allowed to be discussed. I wish all businesses would avoid advertising by all of them and give their business to publications that focus on businesses, the community, and not propaganda.
