Without warnings LPD in heavy ticketing blitz

No courtesy, or verbal warnings, the LPD is out in force throughout town ticketing for minor infractions. Burglaries are still up and no arrests have been made in the recent string of home invasions. Usually some common courtesy would be nice letting people know in advance.

  1. Letting people know in advance that they're going to be ticketed if they break the law?! Seriously?

    1. cops always announce ahead of time when they will crack down on speeding cell phones etc.. its common courtesy. Crime in town is up but they ticket for parking violations in developments.

  3. Lakewood has a reputation for unsafe drivers. Taxes are way too high. Why not solve both problems with a ticketing blitz?
