Is Egg Harbor the answer?

With soaring home prices in Lakewood, young couples are looking for affordable housing to live in. The Jewish community in Egg harbor Township, NJ (10 minutes from Atlantic city) have reached out to bring young kolell couples there. They got approvals to build 2,000 homes on a property near the Trocki Jewish community day school. It is a little under an hour commute from Lakewood. Currently a chabura from BMG are commuting to Egg harbor to test this new initiative. Developers are looking at other jersey towns such as vineland,  where home prices are affordable.

  2. AC is not what it used to be many of the famed casinos have closed, they can all be used for schools, yeshivos, and the maaleh is its on the beach.

  4. There is also plans to move to Browns Mills in Pemberton township much closer to lakewood.

  5. High real estate prices mean high rentals we as a community must not be so greedy and make life affordable for tho young couples starting out.
