Senior citizen and Orthodox Jewish populations grow larger in Jackson

APP The other major change is cultural, religious, and sometimes strained. Increasingly, the changing face of Jackson is also Jewish Orthodox, families that have put down roots because of location, location, location — proximity to the robust Orthodox community in Lakewood.
The change is seen in the mundane, such as restaurants now offering Kosher menu items, and in new tensions — like a recent controversy over aggressive real estate agents pressuring homeowners to sell, ostensibly to make way for an ever-expanding Orthodox community.
